Policies:

Q: What kind of return policy do you have?
A: We offer a 30 day refund policy.  If you need to return an item to us, contact us for a return authorization #. All shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless you are returning defective merchandise or the merchandise was sent in error. We will not continue to accept orders from people who abuse this policy. Please make sure all products a packaged securely and properly to avoid damage.

Q: Is there a minimum order requirement?
A: No, You may order any quantity. Remember the minimum shipping/handling is $4.95 even if you order one ten cent item.

Q: Do I need a password to order?
A: No, On the order form, you can check a box that says you do NOT want to create an account with a password.  The password feature on our check out does allow you to store your shipping address, your past orders and your wishlist. I think you will often find it helpful to be able to look back on the item#'s you purchased in that past. You also have the ability to do a 1-click reorder of a past orders. These features are not available if you do not choose a password, but it is up to you. Your credit card info is not available, we do not store that on the web site.

Q: Are the items you sell new of vintage?
A: Both, our stock comes from a large variety of sources. We import direct, purchase closeouts, buy through distribution and at auctions. As a result you are provided with the largest selection of cameos on the web. Items that we call vintage will say that in the description. Otherwise assume it is new stock.

Q: Can I buy high volume and get better pricing?
A: The web site will automatically calculate your volume discount if one is available, usually at the dozen and gross level. If you want to see if an item has a discount level please click on that individual item. If you require very large quantities contact us directly to see if additional pricing is available.

Q: Can I get samples?
A: We do not offer samples. Most items can be purchased by the piece.

Q: Do you have a catalog?
A: No, paper catalogs are not available.

Q: What about confidentiality? Will you sell my personal information to other companies?
A: Square Peg Workshop ( www.cameojewelrysupply.com ) respects the privacy of our valued customers, and all your personal information is totally confidential. We will not sell, rent or give your name, address, telephone number, or any other information to any business or organization.

Q: I am not convinced that online ordering is safe. Can I order products by phone?
A: Yes you can. Frankly though we prefer orders processed on the web site. We pay to have a secure order form for your protection. What this means is that the order form is encrypted ( scrambled ) when you press the submit button. This makes it virtually impossible for someone to intercept and use your info. In addition phone orders take extra time, cost money to process and seem prone to errors. We understand however that web sites and computers do not always work as intended and some people just refuse to order on line. In that case please see the Contact Us section further down the page for information on ordering by phone, e-mail or regular mail.
 

Q: How can I pay for items?
A: We accept Mastercard, Visa, Paypal, personal checks, money orders

Q: What about backorders?
A: We do not keep track of back orders as a general rule. Orders are closed once they are shipped. In the case of a large shortage of some kind someone from our sales office will contact you to discuss it.

Q: How are items shipped?
A: We only ship through the United States Postal Service. For a more detailed explanation of shipping please see either our "domestic shipping" page or our "international shipping" page.

Q: How long does it take before you ship the order?
A: Generally 1-2 days. Monday through Friday.

Q: If I have a problem with an order I have received what do I do?
A: Please contact us so we can resolve it for you.

Q: Can I special order an item? Can you order something for me?
A: Maybe, we have a lot of contacts it really depends what you are looking for. Please contact us.

Q: What is a "gross"?
A: 1 gross = 144pcs

Q: You list everything in millimeters I do not know what that is?
A: Well that is what the jewelry industry uses which is actually much easier then using inches. If your not familiar with the metric system use a handy conversion web site. There are many available. here is one:
