International Shipping Options: We only ship through the United States Postal Service. The following shipping options are available. - Least Expensive - Priority Mail flat rate envelope. Cost is $12.95 ( $10.95 for Canada and Mexico ) if your order is over $199 then shipping this way is FREE.
- Most Expensive - Express Mail flat rate envelope. Cost is $38.00 ( $29.25 for Canada and Mexico) if your order is over $199 then shipping is $20.00
About these services: - Priority Mail is nothing more then 1st class air mail. It usually takes somewhere from 5-14 days to be delivered. Although I have seen it be as fast as 3 days and as long as 2 months. This service is NOT trackable, nor can you insure it. If it is lost or stolen you will lose your money. We do not refund your purchase if it never shows up. That being said, we have had very, very good luck over the years. Probably 99.5% delivery rate. Some countries seem to have great service like Australia and Japan, some not so much like the Philippines and Mexico. We here do not know how well your countries mail system functions. This is something you should consider when deciding which shipping option is best. If you choose to send your orders Priority Mail and it never arrives please do not contact us. There is nothing we can do about it other then show you a receipt that says we mailed the package to you.
- Express Mail (EMS) is typically a few days faster 3-10 days this service includes tracking and insurance if it is lost (never had one) then please call us for a refund. A note to Canadian customers - We have found Express Mail to be no faster or slower then Priority mail. Apparently the express mail is not handled by Canadian post and goes through a 3rd party. It is still insurable though.
Now the disclaimer - The rates above are what we strive for. 90% of the orders can ship as stated above. However sometimes it can't be done. These rates are based on flat rate envelopes. If we can't physically fit the order in the envelope the cost will be more. For example ; if you order over $100 and you want 4-5 pounds of brass items. We will not be able to offer you free shipping. That would cost us $40 to ship. In that circumstances We will contact you to discuss any additional charge before I charge your card. Customs: - Time estimates: The normal time it takes for a package to arrive as stated above is dependent on the customs department in your country processing your mail in a timely manner. This is not always the case. We have no control over how quickly customs processes shipments.
- Declaration of goods: The contents of our shipments are described as "Unassembled Craft Items - base metal and plastic" on the customs form.
- Taxes & Duties: Some countries apply charges to certain imported goods. We do not know your countries laws, or charges. If your shipment arrives and you have been assessed some kind of additional fee this is not our responsibility. Small-value shipments going through the Post Office often do not get taxed but you never know
- Value: The cost of your merchandise is what will be declared to customs on all orders. We do not send merchandise as gifts or falsify values on customs forms.
- If you have customs questions: call your local customs office. They have the most current and specific information for the country where you are.
