Vintage Glass Paperweight Souvenir Betsy Williams Cottage Providence RI
This paperweight measures 4 inches across. 2.75 inches across. The glass is quite clear free of scratches but I will note there is bit of smudgy stuff on one area. I think it might be adhesive from a piece of tape that was there for years. It is nothing real significant. I think if it bothered you it could probably be removed by a soak and light scrub. Betsy Williams Cottage, Roger Williams Park, Providence, Providence County, RI Significance: Built by Nathaniel Williams, the house was willed to the City of Providence by Williams's granddaughter Betsy in 1871. It is located in Roger Williams Park and is part of the National Historic District.
