12kt gold filled Antique Vintage Petite Scarf Pin Cameo Brooch Hand carved Italian Shell horizontal collar pin F172
I am calling this a petite cameo brooch. It measures just over an inch long and under an inch wide. The horizontal design is unusual. My guess is this might have been typically worn at the throat or with a scarf. The pin has a safety clasp on it. Cameo is set in a 1/20 12K G.F. yellow gold frame stamped as shown in photo. Condition of cameo and frame is very good. I am not positive of the age on it. It looks sort of Deco to me. Perhaps from the 1920's era. Would make a great gift. Comes gift boxed.
