Antique Vintage Hand carved Italian Shell Cameo Brooch Pendant 12kt gold filled F234

A pretty woman Set in a 12kt gold filled setting. Cameo has a nice detail and is in great shape. It has a soldered on ring so you can pass a chain through and wear as a brooch or a pendant. Measures about 1-1/8  inches in height it is a nice pendant size.  Please note the safety catch on the pin works in reverse then modern pins so you push the little lever backwards to close (lock) it. This can drive you crazy thinking it is not working if you do not realize it. They made this style locking pin till around 1920 so that perhaps help date the item,  Make an excellent gift.
